Dutch Braid
The Dutch braid also has different names for it like Cornrow and Outtie Braid.
This very simple braid is very, very similar to a French braid.
If you do not know what are the difference and similarities of a Dutch and French Braid is, I have a post at March 2011 titled "Innie and Outtie Braid Similarities&Differences"
Type of Braid #5
Swiss Braid
There are different names for a swiss braid. It's also called a Heidi Braid or a Lace Braid or a Crown Braid.
Well, I think we all know how the crown braid derived. The hairstyle looks like a braided crown!
This can be easily done by either French braiding all the way around your head (but you only take and add a section from the outer piece which is the hair near your hair line)
This hairstyle may take a little practice before achieving the perfect crown look.
Type of Braid #4
Rope Braid
The rope braid is n easy hair style to do. A lot of people find it hard because they can't get the 'rope' to stay put. The only trick to it to make it stay together is twist 2 strands of hair in the same direction and then twist those 2 strands together in the opposite direction.
Not only does it look complicated but easy to do, it also attracts lots of comments!

French Braid
It's really easy to do once you get the hang of the fingering.
This is similar to an English braid as you start of with three sections(like most of the other braids) but as you go along and braid, you pick up hair and add it into either the right or left piece.
Type of Braid #2
Fishtail Braid
One of a kind braid as you use 2-strands and take little strands from those two.
Commonly used for boho styles and would look more tween-ish/ teen hairstyle if it was started dry and was fishtailed softly.
For a more kid look, it's better to do it wet/damp and fishtail tightly.

English Braid
It's also the traditional 3-strand braid that starts around the nape of the neck.
Very popular in the Great Britain for a long time. It's the simple left-over-middle and right-over-middle action to make the braid.
Innie and Outtie Braid Difference&Similarities
Tuesday, March 15, 2011 @ 5:54 AM
A lot of people do not know what the difference is between an innie and outtie braid.
The similarity is NOT seen on the final result but while your making the braid, you will have to use that 'technique'
-The outtie braid makes the actual braid POP OUT.
SIMILARITIES:
- The 'technique' or rather the braiding method you use is the French braid.
- They still work like a French braid except one part is changed.
DIFFERENCES:
- A normal French braid (innie braid) will ALWAYS have the middles strand to go under the other strands but for the outtie braid, the middle strand will ALWAYS go ABOVE the other strands.
-NOTE- An Innie Braid is like the French braid and the Outtie Braid is the cornrow braid

Bohemian Hairstyle #1
Bohemian Hairstyle #1 is the Fishtail Braid.
It will look better if you start of with dry hair and hair that has no products in it.
If you want to add a spritz of hairspray or some gel just to let it hold longer, you can, but I won't recommend it if you want to keep the fly aways down as it will look less bohemian and more uniform.
D.I.Y Topsy Tail

I've currently wanted to get some topsy tails. I was unable to find at any local hair shop. I also did not want to buy online since it's a little pricey.
So, I Googled on how to make one and found a really helpful video.
I actually watch Cute Girl Hairstyles and they have amazing hair-do's Any ways, I used the video tutorial above to make one but I used clear packaging tape.
L'Oréal Studio Mineral FX Gel
L'Oréal Studio Mineral FX
I absolutely use this gel for almost every hairstyle! I like it because it doesn't stay hard. Now, you might think that what's the point of buying when it doesn't stay? It does stay but doesn't go hard. If you want it to go hard, you need to apply more. It's also not sticky and spreads through the hair easily unless you have really tangled hair. It also keeps fly-aways down and keeps hair shining. It's the 1st styling gel enriched with mineral activities. So, it keeps your hair the way you want it to be(when properly applied) while taking care of your hair.
